Dear Children, Parents & Carers,
Following on from Miss James’ messages on Friday in relation to all of your fantastic efforts with Remote/Blended Learning from home at such short notice, I would like to echo Miss. James’ praise for your flexibility, adaptability, resilience and commitment.
As many of you will know, we have distributed all of our home learning devices at present but we are awaiting a delivery of 44 iPads and will contact those families who have already reserved a device as soon as they become available.
We do still have 3 modems/broadband devices and 55 SIM cards available for any families who are struggling to get on-line.
I have created and will continue to create ‘work packs’ for any families who are struggling to access remote/blended learning from home with a view to exchanging Week 1’s packs for Week 2’s pack this Friday. If this is a more suitable way for your children to learn in your home then please contact me via email on firstname.lastname@example.org so that I can file your request and action it asap.
I have also enclosed a timetable of educational TV scheduled through CBBC for Primary aged children for tomorrow. This can be used to support current learning or add variety in order to keep your child/ren engaged. I will update this each evening so that you have the timetable for the next day.
As a school we are trying our very best to meet the needs of all our children, whether that be through learning in the school building, on-line learning or learning via work packs. However, I also acknowledge that we may be able to adapt or improve our varied menu of learning. If you have any comments or queries that you would like to share to help us improve our offer then please do not hesitate to contact me directly on email@example.com
In the meantime, please look after yourselves and each other, staysafe and take care.
